Customer Reviews

We stayed at the lodge and it was an absolute pleasure. The food was 2 good with them catering for us on a special menu. It was so close that you could hear the lions but in the safety of the lodge. Although it says tented, it was very luxurious and nothing like a tent. Very close to nature and u can see shooting stars. In comparison to a 5 star lodge in the Kruger this is value for money with excellent service. Game drives very good and easy to find the lodge.

We had an amazing 4 nights at Langa langa, as part of our honeymoon. The tented facilities are excellent, as was the food. The whole camp has recently been renovated so everything is very new and clean. The staff, in particular Believe and Silence were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel so welcome. It's located just outside Sabi sands and we did a morning and sunset drive there as well as 3 morning and evening drives in Kruger, would definitely recommend doing both. Cannot recommend this camp enough.

Booking our Safari directly with Langa Langa was hassle free. They were amazing at personalising the three day safari to include all transfers from and to the airport, Safari at Kruger Park & Sabi Sands and a half day Panoramic tour. All the guides were brilliant and very knowledgeable. It was a privilege to view the animals in their natural habitat! Luckily, we saw all the Big 5! Equally, our stay at the Camp was wonderful: lovely comfortable beds, cleaned every day (sometimes twice in one day) and the food was heavenly! It was our first Safari and we are hooked! THANK YOU all at Langa Langa Camps for looking after us.

Wonderful tented camp, warm hospitality, incredible game viewing make Langa Langa a great luxury glamping holiday, at an affordable price. It is small and intimate with 9 luxurious tents luxurious, the staff warm and friendly. Dinner is prepared by a chef and served next to the big fireplace. The package includes a daily game drive into Kruger Park, in a game viewing vehicle with an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly game ranger who had incredible vision - he could spot the swish of Lion's tail from 100 meters! Although it is near the Sabi Sands reserve it did not include access to the park. They offer a game drive into Sabi at an additional cost. I would recommend that highly.

Stayed here together with my brother in February for our bucketlist trip and we couldn’t have choson a better stay! Our tent was amazing and equipped with everything one could need such as a very comfortable bed, aircon and both an indoor and outdoor shower. The staff is all so kind and helpful! They would cater to all our needs and we shared some nice evenings together, especially with Silence and Discharge. The chef is great and puts out a wonderful 3 course meal every night. You never get the same during your stay. Our guide Floid was great and would do his absolute best to make sure we would see what we wanted. We made great memories here and my brother and I will never forget this experience or the people that made our stay truly unforgettable.

Weather Information

It is seemingly always sunny at the Sabi Sand nature Reserve.

Each season has its benefits. From October to March the park is a lush leafy green from the summer rains. This increase of foliage makes it somewhat harder to spot wildlife however this is not to say that you will have a phenomenal game viewing experience and is the most popular time to visit the region. Migratory birds are prevalent during this time of year as well. Temperatures can be quite hot during the day and warm in the evenings.

The dry season from April to September, brings cooler and more comfortable day time temperatures with low humidity. The waterholes and riverbeds come alive with all types of wildlife. Vegetation is thinned out during this time of the year and the animals are relatively easier to spot. This is a lower season for tourists and is also lower risk for malaria.
